Message  Hello I’m Grant. I’ve been teaching English in Japan now for over 10 years. I’m experienced at teaching large or small groups, and private students. I’m comfortable teaching Business English, especially related to Information Technology and Customer Care. I grew up in England where I was born and I’ve also lived in France and America where I got my FAA Commercial Helicopter Pilot License. Other experience includes 2 years of care-giving within the disabled community. I’m also interested in Counseling. My current hobbies include computers and exercise.

Andrew

Profile  Andrew is the Managing Director at Tom Tom English and provides Business English lessons for intermediate and advanced level students.
Since coming to Japan in 2002, he has led thousands of hours of business training for staff at dozens of blue-chip companies including Facebook, Takeda, ABN AMRO, WANO, Cartier, ABeam, Bose, Terumo, BNP Paribas, Medicines sans Frontieres, ANA and the Japanese House of Representatives.

In addition to his role at Tomtom, Andrew is also the Director at Platinum Training Consultants K.K. and a Professor at Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of business, lecturing to MBA candidates on global business communication. 
His hobbies include soccer, cycling and eating out, and he is an active member of several Tohoku regeneration organizations.

Alisdair

Profile Alisdair has worked with professionals from a wide range of companies to help them develop their ability to operate in global environments.
Before joining Tomtom, Alisdair had a successful career in the finance industry.  His most recent roles include Head of Equity Program Trading at HSBC Securities Japan, and Vice President of Portfolio Trading at Goldman Sachs Japan.  His experience in these global roles gives him a keen understanding of the demands of global business.
Alisdair is a keen rugby fan and a student of Japanese. 
He provides Business English lessons for intermediate and advanced level students.
